Bomberman II
Bomberman II is a maze-based action game developed by Hudson Soft for the NES. It's the sequel to the original Bomberman and introduces new features like enhanced multiplayer modes and additional power-ups. Players control Bomberman as he navigates through maze-like levels, planting bombs to defeat enemies and find exits.

Gameplay Systems
The game follows the classic Bomberman formula and it is based directly on the 1990 Bomberman video game. Players control Bomberman, who has been framed for robbing a bank by Black Bomber and imprisoned. To escape, Bomberman must plant bombs to destroy the blocks and enemies within each room of the prison. Several blocks contain power-ups (such as blast radius increasers or fuse shorteners), and one in each level contains a door, which takes Bomberman to the next level.
Passwords are given after a game over, recording the level, number of bombs, and strength of bombs. These passwords can be entered when the game starts, allowing players to continue where they left off. New to the series are the multi-player modes in which players must place bombs to eliminate opposing Bombermen. Two players can compete in Vs Mode, while Battle Mode is a three-player mode that requires the NES Four Score for play.
